Should you work from home or take your germs to the office?

Should you work in the office or home

The average Briton takes 9.1 sick days a year, according to accountancy firm PwC. Doesn’t sound like much, does it, especially given that the average Briton works 150 days of the year*! But we all know that coming to work when you’re unwell won’t make you any friends AND could well make you feel worse!

So should you brave the commute and drag your feet into the office to power through what feels like the longest day of your life, or should you have spent a few more days working at home or even in bed recovering?

We’ve developed a fun guide to help you decide whether to keep your germs to yourself and work from home, or whether you should venture to the office. Might be a good one to share with that colleague who always thinks it’s a great idea to come in and contaminate everyone…!
