Earlier on this year, we announced that GoToMeeting had been redesigned for Windows users. The new design was well-received but our Mac users were left wondering when they too would be able to benefit from a refreshed UI (user interface).
Well, I’m thrilled to announce that the wait for Mac users is now over.
This week, the new and improved Mac control panel was officially released for not only GoToMeeting but GoToWebinar and GoToTraining as well. Hoorah! Customers will start to see the new UI in the next few weeks as it’s rolled out.
To make sure you’re ready for this update, organisers and attendees running Mac OS X 10.7 will need to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later in order to download the desktop app. Attendees can also use the GoToMeeting Web App, GoToWebinar Instant Join App or the GoToTraining Instant Join App to join sessions from their browsers instead).
Take a look at how the design of the control panel has changed. You’ll notice that we’ve modernised the colour scheme and new icons have been designed to improve usability.
Here’s to even better, more productive and enjoyable meetings!
